Open and Close Production

October 16, 2007

Wikipedia and Encyclopedia Britannica are examples of collaborate source. If we visit Wikipedia we will be able to see very simple and at the same time very interesting website with many different articles and information in it. Although Britannica is more colorful and there are many sparkling banners that attract people’s attention.

On-line encyclopedias are all available on world wide web now. But you have to find and choose the right one. Which has huge database. Wikipedia and Britannica are those that have such… Of course there are a lot of other open/close production examples; in my point of view the weblog that I have now is an example of close production, because here you cannot find anything that you need at the moment, however I hope that I will develop it and collect fascinating stuff in future :)

Community

October 5, 2007

Our world is made up of communities of every type and size. … Communities influence people in different ways. … People are apart of these communities because at some level they all share a common bond, whether it is a community at work or a community of friends. … Communities make up our country, states and cities and support all of them but even a community cannot stand without the individual pillars of people supporting it. Communities are formed because we are stronger together then we are apart. … Communities become a mutual benefit with the people in them. Let me also be the first to reassure you that not all communities are helpful.

Why are communities so important to me? … Well if air, water, and food are three necessities for us to survive and grow as human beings then communities are a necessity to help shape us as we grow and become adults.
